This is the 6th, and last, episode chronicling perhaps the greatest season rivalry in Southern Section cross country history. Earlier in the 2019 cross country season, Newbury Park High and Great Oak High had each taken one head-to-head victory and now they move on to the biggest matchup of all - the 2019 Nike Cross Nationals (NXN). And they don't just have each other to worry about. Corner Canyon (Utah) and Loudoun Valley (Virginia) are big contenders. With Nationals being the final race of the year, there is no holding back. It is all out for everyone, including Newbury Park's Nico Young. And Nico's competition for the individual title is impressive - Cole Sprout, Josh Methner, Matt Strangio, Caleb Brown, Ryan Schoppe, Evan Holland, and Nathan Green. After the race, three teams get called to the awards stand - soaking wet and cold. There is no clue as to the finish order.
